The Sand Springs Veterans Center was founded on the principle of collaboration and unity among veteran organizations to serve better those who have served. Recognizing the challenges veterans face in navigating multiple systems for assistance, the American Legion Post 17, Witkop Foundation, Vets That Matter, and the Auxiliary of the American Legion came together to create a single, central hub of support.
By pooling our resources, expertise, and commitment, we’ve established a place where veterans can access the help they need in one convenient location. From connecting with benefits and resources to finding camaraderie and community, the Sand Springs Veterans Center is dedicated to ensuring no veteran is left behind.
Here, veterans and their families can find not only services but also a sense of belonging and a community that understands their sacrifices. Together, we’re stronger—and we’re here to serve those who have given so much.
Meet The Board
I proudly served as a medic with the 1/279 Infantry Regiment, Oklahoma National Guard, from 2009 to 2015. During my time in service, I completed a tour in Afghanistan, where I provided critical medical support to my fellow soldiers in challenging environments.
Now, I’m dedicated to serving my community and fellow veterans through leadership roles, including as President of the Sand Springs Veteran Center and Adjutant of American Legion Post 17. My focus is on fostering connections, supporting veterans, and making a positive impact in our community.
